Gabrielle Chou is a tech serial entrepreneur (with 3 exits). In 2000, Gabrielle created ChinaLOOP, one of the pioneers in "intelligent" database management, which she sold four years later to ACXIOM, the world leader in customer data for marketing. In 2009, she created MOOD BY ME, a Digital Native Brand producing fashion pieces on demand, which she sold in 2014. In 2017, Gabrielle Chou founded Allure Systems, a generative AI solution that produces images for the fashion industry thanks to architectures based on the CNN and GAN algorithms. Allure Systems was acquired in December 2021 by FARFETCH, the leading global fashion, and luxury industry platform. Since 2021, Gabrielle Chou has been on the board of several tech startups and she is an associate professor at New York University on the Shanghai campus. She teaches Generative Artificial Intelligence, particularly the ability of this new technology to disrupt existing ecosystems and challenge the status quo of many economic models.
